A nice circular walk leads up the hill from the church to Kiftsgate, Hidcote Manor Garden, and then up onto Ilmington Downs, before going down again through Hidcote Boyce to return to Mickleton. The is also a pleasant walk leading southwards, over the hill to Chipping Campden, passing close to the southern entrance to Campden Railway Tunnel.
