Positive: The staff were very friendly and considerate. I sent a message to the team prior to arrival requesting a non pet room as this hotel is pet friendly and I have allergies. Within 5 minutes I’d had a reply to confirm I had been allocated a non pet room. Considering this hotel is next to an industrial estate, I found my room very quiet, even with both windows open. Was made aware prior to arrival, the facilities were unavailable but this didnt factor in my decision to book. Was able to order a Deliveroo to the hotel if I wanted. Shower was big and modern and everything was clean.

Negative: The bed I had was in a very poor state. One side of my bed dipped so much it was like I was sleeping on a slope! Very uncomfortable night and didnt get much sleep unfortunately. Did reoprt this to receptionist at checkout. She made a note and explained some beds were old and were being replaced. She assured me would make sure my feedback was passed to the facilities team.

Summary: Convenient for an overnight pit stop for work travel. Great staff. Might consider another stay.
