The cottage sits in a cobbled court-yard, it is quietly situated and totally self contained with its own parking in the courtyard.
The accommodation comprises of 1 large bedroom with a double and a single bed and bathroom upstairs. The bathroom has a bath with shower over it.
Downstairs there is an open plan sitting/dining and kitchen area. The sitting area has 2 big comfy sofas with a TV/DVD player and a dining table to seat 4. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine/tumbler dryer, cooker, microwave and separate fridge and freezer.
All linen and towels are provided.
The cottage is centrally heated and electric heaters are provided for chilly Autumn/Spring evenings.

High and Mid Season: Our arrival day is Saturday and we require a minimum of a 7 nights extra weeks can be booked but not extra nights a minimum stay of 3 nights at other times. We are sometimes able to accommodate short stays in High/Mid season, please check availability or give us a call.
THE GABLES nestles in the heart of the village offering our guests peace and quiet, yet just a minutes walk to the high street with its unique local shops, pubs, restaurants, museums and galleries.
The Gables is perfectly situated for walking on Exmoor and the South West coastal path or finish your walk on the Coleridge Way here. There are numerous National Trust and historic properties to visit or relax on one of our nearby beaches or explore the magnificent Somerset and Devon countryside. To end your day you can relax in the cottage gardens or our guest lounge which opens out onto the cottage gardens, we have DVD`s, books and games for you to borrow. Free Wifi in all rooms.
Breakfast is served in our breakfast room overlooking the courtyard garden where we offer a choice of fresh fruit, juices, cereals and a full English breakfast (made with locally sourced fresh produce where possible) or a continental breakfast.
