Welcome to the Wander Haus! A true Mtn getaway. A home perfect for families & friends alike. Enter into the kitchen open to LR w/ wood burning fireplace. This level has King bdrm & double Twin bdrm w/ full bath. Follow the whimsical stairs to the lower level where the Master bdrm & bath awaits. Another double twin bdrm + laundry on this level. Outside find enchanting nights under the cafe lights. Enjoy grilling or snuggle up around the fire pit. Something for everyone awaits at the Wander Haus!
This home does require stairs to enter into the upper level front door. Here you will enter a door code to access the home. Enter into the kitchen open to dining area and Living Room. The Living Room offers a smart TV, wood burning fireplace (wood not provided) and large sectional.
There is access to the main level deck from the Living Room. There is a built in propane grill on the back deck. Please note propane is not provided, but guests can use what is there or exchange.
The Kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials you need, but if you're looking for something specific please don't hesitate to ask.
The family table seats 6, but there are 2 more chairs if needed. Please make sure to use trivets and placemats on the table as not to damage it.
The main level has a King Bedroom and Double Twin Bedroom plus full bath.
The Lower Level has the Laundry Room, Master King Bedroom with attached bath, and another Double Twin Bedroom. The Master Bedroom has access to the lower deck and front yard.
There are fenced areas for pets and children, but the entire yard is not fenced. Please make sure to watch children and pets.
The entire home is accessible to guests. There is a locked closet in the laundry room not available to guests.
**Lake Arrowhead is a private lake and short-term renters are not permitted access to the Lake, Lake trails, Peninsula Park, and Grass Valley Park as of September 28th, 2020. Available lakes for swimming, fishing, and walking trails are Lake Gregory in Crestline, Lake Silverwood, and Big Bear Lake in Big Bear. Lake availability will vary by season.
The Dogwood Cabins is open 7 days a week from 8 am to 7 pm. You may call or text. If there is an emergency please call the number provided and we will respond immediately.
This is a quiet neighborhood and we ask that guests follow the house rules and quiet hours. Any guest in violation of the house rules will be subject to removal from the home and responsible for any fines incurred by management and the county.
Lake Gregory at Crestline offers a more small-town feel compared to other larger cities nearby. Walk to your favorite coffee shop and then a relaxing walk around Lake Gregory. Crestline is 15 minutes to Blue Jay, 20 minutes to Lake Arrowhead, and 45 minutes to Big Bear. A great location to visit all your favorite mountain cities.
This home is very close to shops and restaurants as well as Lake Gregory. You can walk, but please note it is an uphill walk most of the way back to the home.
Dogs welcome with approval from management. There is a $150 pet fee per pet. This will be paid separately through Airbnb. No cats or huskies please.
Parking is for 2-3 vehicles (depending on the size of your vehicles) only in the driveway. No street parking is allowed per county rules. Do not block neighbors' driveway or park in neighbors' driveway.
You will need a county fishing permit to fish at Lake Gregory.
There is no cable in the home, Smart TV in the Living Room and Master Bedroom.
We highly recommend carrying chains/cables with tensioners during the winter. CalTrans will have chain checkpoints and require you to show them or in some cases put them on. to be allowed up the mountain.
The Firepit is propane, propane is not provided, but if some is left by a previous guest it may be used or exchanged locally.
The Built-in BBQ is hooked up to natural gas (NO propane needed)
*Due to COVID-19* The Mountain is experiencing a propane shortage, and you may have a hard time finding propane locally on the Mountain.
**This is NOT a party home! If you plan on breaking any of the house rules, including but not limited to:
There is no smoking inside or outside the property, this includes but not limited to Cigarettes, Marijuana, and Cigars. If we smell smoke in the home there will be an additional $250 cleaning fee. If we find burn marks in any furniture, the guest is responsible for replacement costs.
We do not enjoy removing pets or additional guests from the home as well as charging additional fees. We kindly ask that guests follow all house rules to avoid any issues.
Smoking inside or outside the home, any type of drug usage legal or not, underage drinking, violating quiet hours, exceeding occupancy limits or vehicle limits please do to rent this home. We do not enjoy removing people from our home, but the safety of our guests, home, and neighbors comes first.

-This is a full-time neighborhood please be mindful of loud music and outside noise during quiet hours.
-This is not a “Party House” please treat the home with the love and care the owners do.
-No underage drinking
-No drug use of any kind, this includes marijuana.
-No smoking inside or outside the property. This includes but is not limited to marijuana, cigarettes, pipe, cigars, or vape pens. If we smell any smoke/marijuana inside the home, there will be an additional $250 fee.
-No outdoor fires of any kind
-If this is a Pet-Friendly home, all pets must be approved by management. Please pick up all feces left behind by your pet and place in the outside trashcan.
