Summary: If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful cabin on the water with great woodland views and reasonably priced, this is the place for you. We love how the property included so many water toys, like kayaks, a boat, extra fishing poles, life vests, games, etc. The water was a little low when we were there, but the little sandy area by the dock was perfect for our 5 year old to splash and play in. My 12 year old daughter had a great time fishing off the dock and on the boat. The lake seemed a bit overfished, and we were only able to catch small fish to be released. We may have had better luck in the nearby, larger lake, which the owner provided great instructions on how to access from the property. The owner was great at communicating back with us when we had any questions. I deducted a star only for the cleanliness. There was dog hair and cobwebs inside the house, but everything else seemed pretty clean. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the view of the lake.
