The North gate to Yosemite National Park is only twenty minutes away and forty to the valley floor. In the winter there is plenty of downhill skiing at Badger Pass, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Nearby is the gold rush town of Groveland where you will find the Iron Door Saloon an iconic mountain experience!
