The Northern California Coast is known for its raw beauty and towering trees, and you will have access to it all within minutes of your front door. If hiking is on the agenda, simply make your way to the Trillium Falls Trail (one mile), Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park (three miles), or the famous Redwood National and State Parks (10 miles south). Then explore the primeval ferns of Fern Canyon and the moody beaches of Northern California, and learn their secrets on a guided tour with Redwood Adventures. Food and Dining: The wildlife is fantastic because Elk Meadow Cabins is remote. We highly recommend that you bring your own groceries or make reservations at nearby sit-down restaurants. The Orick town market and Shoreline Deli are our nearest convenience stores.
