A short train ride from the nearby station takes you to the Tarka Trail, favoured by walkers and cyclists alike. Slightly further afield, days out include the beautiful cathedral city of Exeter (33 miles) and pretty Torbay (60 miles). You can also walk out directly from the farm across the fields and follow the footpath by the river Taw to the Rising Sun at Umberleigh (1 mile) or stroll along the quiet lanes to The Bell Inn at Chittlehampton (1.5 miles), where you can enjoy good food at both pubs.
Stepping inside this beautiful holiday let you will find yourself in the bright and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with lovely underfloor heating. Floor-to-ceiling French doors open out onto a balcony with seating and amazing countryside views, great for morning coffee or evening sundowner. This room also has two comfortable chairs and a smart TV for your convenience. A wrought iron spiral staircase leads from the first-floor balcony down to the enclosed garden, ideal for when preparing to dip into the hot tub.
Directly outside the property, enjoy relaxing on the enclosed private patio area and lawn where there is garden furniture to sit and relax on, as well as the fantastic private hot tub. A paddock for exercising dogs is also available for your dog to enjoy, and there is a dog bin, outside tap and hose for your four-legged friends. Off-road parking for one car plus an electric car charging point is also available (additional parking available on request).
