Each offer independent boutiques and chain shops, an excellent collection of eateries including fine dining, to many cafés serving homemade cakes and savouries. Visit the weekly markets, which are excellent for all things local, should you wish to enjoy a night of cooking and dining in.
Beccles is also home to the lido open-air heated swimming pool, popular with many local swimmers.
