The Bancroft House is a spacious home located in the heart of Omaha's Midtown area. This century old home has been very recently remodeled with the comfort of our guests as a top priority. Bancroft House is short drive to the popular Blackstone District, Midtown Crossing, Capitol District, and the Old Market. Also close is the UNMC campus, Creighton University, Charles Schwab Field Home of the CWS, CHI Health Center and Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo. I-80 is just 2 minutes south of the house.
The space:
This home is over 3200 finished square foot and is very spacious, allowing guests to spread out. This comfortable house features a modern kitchen with stainless steel (new)appliances, a bathroom on each level (2 just updated), and a large living room. Bedrooms are graciously sized. There is a Roku TV in both living spaces and 4 of the 6 bedrooms. The home welcomes families or groups.
It also has a finished basement with a game room and rec room. Arcade games include NFL blitz and Ms PacMan, Asteroids, Tetris and many more game options. The basement rec room also has electronic darts, a foosball table and a large variety of games and puzzles. Snuggle in on the comfortable leather sectional for movie night! We provide 2 blow up mattresses to use in the basement family room.
There is also a large backyard with a patio, gas grill, and a fenced-in yard for pets and kids. Outdoor games are provided like Corn Hole, Croquet, and Ladder Toss. The shaded front patio offers soft lighting, a gas fire pit and seating for up to 10 people.
Guest access:
Guests will have the entire house to themselves and access to the garage as well. A storage room in the basement and 2 closets that access the eves on the second floor bedrooms are locked to prevent guest access.
Other things to note:
We have worked hard to convert this house from a long-term rental to an AirBnB. We are excited to have you experience our city. This is our first venture and we are anxious to make the guest experience a 5-star one.
