Positive: Bracken At Holly House is holiday cottage perfection. From the moment we arrived we knew we were staying somewhere special. A wonderful welcome basket and freshly cut flowers from the owners garden greeted us. The cottage is immaculate, and beautifully presented, and it also smells amazing. It is evident that a great deal of thought and attention has gone into making guests feel comfortable and at home. The beds are luxurious and cosy, like sleeping on a cloud, we all slept so well. The shower is brilliant, the toiletries smell divine and the bathroom towels are perfect. Julie and Nigel have done an exceptional job of making this holiday cottage the very best and we can’t wait to return to our new favourite spot in North Yorkshire. Thank you!

Negative: We loved everything about the cottage. It was a shame the village pub no longer serves food, however there are plenty of places to eat nearby. We love the Fox and Rabbit just off the A169, about a 15 minute drive from the cottage.
