Summary: The location of this little house was excellent, but the house itself needs some work. Location: A few blocks to 2nd St. with food and shops; a few blocks more to the beach. The heat did not work in the house - nights were chilly. I did exchange messages with the owner who told me to check the pilot for the furnace - which I did - but was unable to restart. This should have been dealt with by the property owner - who didn't follow up. One of the fold-out couches is falling apart, the toilets need upkeep (new seat/adjust constant fill issue). The dishwasher racks are completely rusted and should be replaced immediately (yuck). The sheets and blankets were bare minimum - would be nice to add a few blankets and extra pillows. Overall, the place was fine and the kitchen was functional and stocked with dishes and pots/pans. This is not a "Brand New" beach cottage- but it is adequate and great location. Hopefully the owner will deal with the issues that I've highlighted.
