Positive: Wow, brilliant apartment! It was much bigger than it looks in the pictures, we were 3 adults and there was plenty of room. Really big balcony for sitting out on, which leads off the kitchen area, so great for eating outside or cup of coffee etc. Lovely and quiet, spotlessly clean, and near enough to drive to lots of places for sight seeing or walking. Kirkby Lonsdale is a lovely place, we walked in once on the quiet back road behind the church at Casterton, took about 40 minutes. The apartment is quality throughout, plenty of plates, utensils etc, and I liked the little things like torches in the bedroom drawers in case of emergencies. So, we highly recommend this place, best accommodation we have ever stayed in, my wife and I reckoned we could see ourselves living here, it was so spacious!

Negative: The five days we were there were really nice and hot, so a sun brolly for the balcony would have been nice, as it gets the afternoon sun till early evening. The apartment is really warm, and the bedrooms do have fans, but maybe a fan for the living room would be good. And lastly, the apartment is on the second floor, and with it being converted from an old building, it was not possible to have a lift, so there are 4 short flights of stairs to go up, not a problem for us but could be if you are disabled or infirm. The above comments are minor gripes and just stop it from being 10 out of 10, but still would not stop us returning to this apartment in a flash!

Summary: Fabulous place to stay for our 5 days sightseeing!
