The colourful Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron is less than a 10-minute drive, where you can tuck into a famous honey ice cream from The Hive.
Visit the 18th-century Welsh gentry estate at Llanerchaeron, with its walled gardens, farmyard and lake, set in the wooded Aeron valley which is only 5 miles from the cottage.
The seaside villages of Llangrannog, Tresaith and Aberporth are all within a 20-minute drive and provide excellent days out.
