Built as a luxury hotel in 1956 with renowned architects Dan Palmer and William Krisel, the property was originally designed to attract celebrity clientele, and was a popular destination for Hollywood elite such as Elizabeth Taylor, Frank Sinatra and Lucille Ball.
The bungalow is located in one of the best locations within the complex - the unit’s wall of windows open to a spacious private patio with direct west mountain views . Relax on the patio while enjoying the sunset, spend the day basking in the sun at the champagne cork shaped heated pool, or enjoy hanging out at the iconic Sunshine Bar (BYOB).
The bungalow was renovated with its midcentury history as inspiration. It features floor to ceiling sliding glass doors, tile floors throughout, sleek and minimalist kitchen cabinets, and a 260 sq foot patio. The condo has a full kitchen (cooktop - FYI no oven!), dishwasher, washer/dryer and BBQ. The bed is King Size and very comfy!
