The house is spacious and clean. It is the first level of a two family house and is a completely private space. It is in a great location, just a 15 minute drive to both New York airports and a 15 minute walk to the F train into Manhattan (or a quick bus ride).
This is an older house that has a lot of traditional and charming details but it should be noted that both the kitchen and the bathroom are functional but not renovated. There is a lot of space, two good size bedrooms and one additional room off the living room that doubles as an office but also has another twin bed and can be a third bedroom.. There is currently a queen, a full, and a twin but we can add another twin in the large bedroom if needed. There are spacious cedar closets and a washer dryer in the basement.
Please note that the house is on the Grand Central Parkway service road and so you will likely hear some noise from the cars that go by. It has never bothered us and we’ve never had any complaints but if you are very sensitive to sound it may be something to consider.
