The space
I'm very excited to welcome guests to my cosy and stylish 2 bedroom downstairs flat / apartment. I hope it will be the beginning of a memorable stay in Newcastle Upon Tyne. My apartment is situated on a friendly residential street just to the West of the city centre. I've thoroughly enjoyed renovating my property and installing high quality appliances to make the space functional and relaxing for guests.
My property sleeps a maximum of 4 guests. A large double bedroom will comfortably sleep two guests. A second bedroom has a unique bunkbed to sleep in. There is a steep set of ladders leading to the bunkbed which benefits from a stunning skylight. This bunkbed will comfortable sleep 1 adult or two children. Please be mindful the bunkbed is only accessible via a staircase.
The entire property is on the ground floor. Access is via a front private door with the door number 5A.
As you enter the property you will be greeted by a large open plan kitchen and dining space. All essential appliances will be located on your left hand side. The space also contains a seating area for guests to relax in and a dining table with enough seats for 4 people. There is also a artificial fireplace in this space to add the the cosiness of the property. A wall mounted TV will provide excellent entertainment for all guests.
The bathroom is located on the left hand side as you walk through the property. There is a shower and washing facilities but unfortunately no bath. Complimentary toiletries are available for guests upon arrival.
The two bedrooms are at the rear of the property. Both contain large windows creating a very warm and bright feel. There are curtains available to ensure the room is dark enough in the summer evenings. The master bedroom on the left hand side contains a large wardrobe with plenty of space to store your belongings. The smaller bedroom containing a desk space and small wardrobe space to be used by guests. The ladders to the bunkbed will be located on the left hand side of the second bedroom.
Unfortunately guests will not have access to the outside space to the rear of the property.
Guest access
Guests will have access to all internal areas of the property. There is a partitioning door which provides access to the main house. This door will remain closed throughout the duration of your stay. Guests unfortunately will not have access to the rear outside space.
Other things to note
We provide complimentary tea and coffee, as well as travel sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap. Other items provided during your stay are a washing-up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll. These should last a couple of days. If more is needed, there is a Morrisons close by.
Please be mindful that the second bedroom does include only a double bunkbed that will need accessing by a steep ladder. This will be suitable for 1 adult or two smaller children only.
PARKING
The street parking is free, however it can be busy so you are not guaranteed a parking space outside of the house.
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check-in time is after 3pm and check-out time is before 11 am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner’s schedule.
