Val D'Isere is a great alternative to staying at the expensive condominiums in the Village. This property is just across the street! In the morning, it is just a short walk to the Gondola to the Canyon Lodge lifts. During the evening, you'll have no need for a car. Simply walk to Mammoth's newest restaurants, shops, and nightclubs; then return home to a much quieter location with no Village noise below your room! There is also a BBQ at the pool in the summer as well as a common area laundry room in addition to our laundry in the condo. Two car parking is available right by the condo. Extra parking is available upon request. Our Condo is next to the New Ski Back Trail, at the bridge that crosses into the Village, as well as the Mountain Bike Trail to the Village. Ski, bike and hike in the beautiful woods just outside!
Why the Owner Chose Val D'Isere:: With our condo in the Val D'Isere complex across from the Village and next to the ski back trail, it is in the perfect spot for winter skiing and summer hiking and biking right from our parking area. Great skiing and boarding in winter and late spring. Lots of activities also during spring, summer and fall: Fourth of July, Jazz Festival, Beer Festival, Art Festival, Blues Festivals, Mountain Biking, 5ks, 10k, Mammoth Motocross, golfing and much more. Take a day trip to Yosemite or Mono Lake and Bodie Ghost Town, you'll never run out of things to do. Don't miss a trip to Hot Creek as well. Shuttle service is available to any of the Mammoth lodges. Mammoth, June, and Owens River/Bishop are prime fly fishing spots. The many lakes make for fantastic water sports too - you can jet ski and knee board at Crowley Lake and Grant Lake. There are daily flights from LAX, Orange County (SNA) and San Francisco to Bishop airport which is 35 miles from our condo.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo: : Year Purchased: 2010; Completely rebuilt in mid 2016 - We have made this condo very comfortable with all the amenities that you desire. This is truly our home away from home and hope this will be yours as well. The condo is an end unit which has a southern exposure making it warm and bright. Val D'Isere is a small complex allowing close parking to the unit. It's on the ski back trail and mountain bike trail and directly across the street from the Village and gondola area. It's a great location for skiing and also when they have concerts and events at the village across the street. Once you are at our condo you do not need a car since the best restaurants are across the street in the Village.
Owner Description/Comments:: We have been vacationing at Mammoth Lakes for over 40 years and enjoy all that it has to offer including the best snow skiing in the US as well as great hiking and many summer activities. It's the perfect place to have a family vacation.
