The Little House is in the centre of Great Longstone, a pretty limestone village in the Peak District. This means it's in a great location for all sorts of local activities and attractions. From Monsal Dale and its incredible waterfall, to grand Chatsworth House with its beautiful gardens and lovely farm shop. While you’re out rambling along the Peaks, make sure you climb to the top of Froggatt Edge and gaze at the most wonderful and breathtaking view. Stroll along the river at Lathkill Dale and just take in the beautiful nature that surrounds you. Jump in the car and you'll soon be at the interesting plague village of Eyam, Cauldwell Mill’s Craft Centre, Hartington’s Cheese Shop or Peak Rail with its steam trains. However, a trip to the market town of Bakewell to sample its famous and delicious Pudding really will be the cherry on the top.
Get back to Great Longstone in time to try out one of the surrounding local pubs to enjoy a scrummy evening meal or a couple of drinks.
