Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The reading nook, games and hammocks on the porch were great. We liked that the TV moved so we could watch comfortably from the couch, and that it has Netflix etc. The space was clean and the area felt safe and close enough to grocery stores, restaurants and all the lakes, hikes etc. Check in was easy with a key code and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. We liked having a washing machine. Parking was right outside the front door.

Negative: The temperature in each room varied like crazy. The sliding glass doors downstairs are not well insulated. We could regulate the bedrooms with their own thermostat but the downstairs bathroom was so cold. Upstairs was always 10 degrees (or more) hotter. I can’t imagine staying here in winter! Additionally, upstairs was so poorly lit even with every possible light and lamp on. Even in the middle of the day with every window shade up the place felt dark and dreary (not bright like the pictures). Lastly, the downstairs main bedroom mattress was uncomfortable for my taste. I prefer a softer but supportive mattress. Overall a nice stay, but for these reasons and the high price I would personally stay somewhere else on a return trip.
