Wroxham, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads, is 4½ miles away, with daily boat hire, river trips, riverside restaurants, cafés and shops. Wroxham Barns has a café and stalls offering handmade pottery, crafts, delicatessen, children’s play area and small farm animal petting area. BeWILDerwood at Horning is also a must for families. Coltishall is 3 miles away with a selection of shops and riverside pubs. The market town of North Walsham is 4 miles for shops, cafés and restaurants. The Norfolk sandy beaches can be found at Mundesley and Happisburgh (10 miles) and Bacton, Walcott and Sea Palling (12 miles).
