Riverside cafés, restaurants, garden centre and shops offer great days out. Wroxham Barns, just a few minutes outside Wroxham, has craft barns, eateries, petting farm animals and a play park for the children.
Enjoy a trip on the Bure Valley Steam Railway, with the train stopping at Coltishall to jump on and off, visiting Wroxham and the popular market town of Aylsham. Excellent sandy beaches are within a 30-minute drive. Mundersley, Happisburgh and Sea Palling all offer excellent wide sandy beaches and traditional seaside amusements and cafés.
