Our apartment is located in a peaceful road, offering a quiet seaside getaway, yet moments from a sandy Westgate Bay and steps from Westgate coffee shops, restaurants and bars & Carlton Cinema. Hop on a bus and within minutes you are in the heart of Margate.
Refurbished in 2023, the apartment has a king-size bed, fully fitted kitchen, a small courtyard garden plus a larger terrace.
Perfect for couples holiday or singles/couples looking for somewhere to stay when working in the area.
The building is a large Victorian house, now converted into apartments. We are the basement apartment with light flooding into the lounge from the large fronted bay windows and into the bedroom at the rear through a fully glazed door and window.

Step straight into the fully fitted kitchen with a fridge/freezer. oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and all you need to cook up a breakfast or a hearty meal.

Perfectly set out, the lounge has a comfortable sofa and Smart TV. There is a dining table; perfect size to eat a meal, catch up on emails or play a board game.

Our apartment is a 2 minute walk to the beach and a 2 minute walk to the local pub (right on the beach front) - The Swan. We are a 5 minutes walk from the Westgate-on-sea train station. 5 mins to Coop, local restaurants and bars. 2 minutes from the Westgate and Birchington golf course. Catch the bus or train to Dreamland and Margate which are only 2 miles away.
The famous Carlton Cinema is only a few minutes walk.
The nearest beach is Westgate Bay, a beautiful sandy beach, away from the crowds and often a tranquil place- even in the summer. You can walk the coastline right through to Margate Main Sands and beyond. To walk to Margate along the coastline would take around 50 minutes.
Westgate-on-Sea is a quaint, old fashioned place which has boutique bars and shops popping up. Often quieter than the hustle and bustle of Margate but with fantastic public transport links straight into Margate, Broadstairs, Ramsgate, Canterbury or London.
Our street is a quiet road and you can easily find on street parking near the apartment.
If you are traveling by train the main line railway station is only 5 minutes walk, as are the bus stops which will take you into Margate or Birchington.
There are steps down to the apartment and steps up to the terraces.
