Colony Retreat is a fabulous Palm Springs vacation home with four mid-century natural stone fireplaces and an open concept floor plan. The extensive use of glass doors and windows in the great room ushers the outdoors indoors and provides spectacular views of the pool, San Jacinto mountains, mature palms, and private green space. It's modern, spacious, clean, and comfortably sleeps 8.
As part of a renovation, the owners preserved the unique and sophisticated vibe of yesteryear while adding modern conveniences like high-speed Internet Wi-Fi service and five flat-screen TV's. The kitchen and baths have an updated style that complements the home's iconic architectural lines. A true appreciation of all things mid-century come together to create this wonderful desert escape. While here you'll be soaking in the classic kidney shaped heated saltwater pool while enjoying the stunning mountain views. Also for your comfort is a large fire pit for stargazing, with teak chairs and loveseat for those intimate nights.
The bedrooms are off on their own in separate areas down a hallway from the living space. The large private bedrooms are great for groups with both early risers and those who want to sleep in. All the sleeping quarters have comfortable hospitality quality mattresses with high thread count sheets and pillows. The master bedroom offers a king-size bed with an ensuite bathroom, two 48” modern vanities, slate walk-in shower, floor-to-ceiling natural stone fireplace, and 55” 4K flat screen TV.
